Letter: Speeding in New West is like the Indy 500 and somebody will get hurt

Speeding in New West is out of control.

Seriously, I live on River Drive on 20th Street. The traffic down here from FRPD and Southern Rail ranges from speeding excessively to at times running the stop signs up to 50 miles an hour - not exaggerating.

The police do crap all, except for a couple of hours a month to catch these minions.

(Drivers have) no respect for the families with kids and no sidewalks. We will wait until somebody gets seriously hurt or dead.

Come and watch the Indy 500. Stewardson Way is so bad for excessive speeding, the police can’t keep up - we need more police and enforcement.
