Letter: New West needs to reopen closed lanes on Sixth Avenue

Editor: Enough of this with the closed lanes on Sixth Avenue. I've never seen vehicles lined up between Sixth and Eighth streets, westbound and eastbound traffic stops, with one person wanting to make a left turn into Westminster Centre parking.
physical distancing, lane closures, Sixth Avenue, uptown
This letter writer says it's time to reopen the closed lanes on Sixth Avenue. The city closed them in the spring to allow room for pedestrians to physically distance uptown.

Enough of this with the closed lanes on Sixth Avenue. I've never seen vehicles lined up between Sixth and Eighth streets, westbound and eastbound traffic stops, with one person wanting to make a left turn into Westminster Centre parking. Also reinstate the bus stop by the Walmart store at Sixth and Eighth Street. It has a covered waiting area, and there is not enough space at the bus stop at Moody Park for people waiting for a bus.
