Recently I visited NWSS to deliver a paper to my daughter at the end of lunch.
Inside the Grand Commons I was greeted with lunch garbage everywhere, on the floor, tables and chairs. I asked my daughter if something had happened, and she said, “This is the norm."
I was shocked that the students would be allowed to leave such a mess behind for the custodians to clean up. It was sad to see the lack of respect that students have for their learning environment.
