In regards to your piece in the paper regarding the replacement (or not) of the Pattullo Bridge.

I appreciate that residents of New West have to endure heavy traffic through the day and even evenings. It does remind me a little of people who move next to an airport, then demand the planes go somewhere else.

I live in Surrey. Pretty much always have.

I work all over Metro Van and it’s a challenge getting around. There are a lot of people that have jobs like me.

The thought of eliminating a bridge makes me cringe with fear.

I would love to see tunnels bored under New West, but I guess the cost is too much. It would be amazing, though. Especially when you look at a map and see how it could all line up.

If I had a voice and could write, I’d be screaming from my soap box for large corporations to move office space to where people live.

It’s great to see SFU expanding their satellite campus in Surrey. Would love to see UBC do the same.

It’s a big city here and I don’t hear much promotion for business development.  Mostly, I just hear negativity.

I’m excited about a new Pattullo Bridge and what it could mean for development in the Bridgeview area. If I lived in New West, I would do what I could to promote tunnels.
