Letter: Climate change, you say? Then act on train smoke

Between diesel emissions and train noise, something's gotta be done.

If the city of New Westminster wants to act on climate, then it needs to do something about trains, this letter writer says.

Re: New Westminster and addressing climate change

You people concerned about pollution: What about diesel emissions from train smoke, at times filling the neighborhood — inside our houses at times, depending on the way the wind's blowing.

I have tried several contacts about this problem for years, never mind the worn-out, noisy train engines you can hear coming almost three-quarters of a mile away.

Once again, to the proper people involved in climate change, thank you for your time or input.
