Letter writer misses the print edition of the newspaper.

The Editor,

I miss the print newspaper. During the lockdowns, that weekly newspaper arriving on my doorstep was a bright spark in an otherwise solitary week.

It was my chief connection to the city, and I enjoyed it so much I even subscribed when you put out the call for contributions because ad revenue had dropped.

I check "Here's What's Happening in New West" online each day and I have the app on my phone, but it's just not the same.

As a former journalist, the loss of another print newspaper is sad. Nevertheless, times change and we must change with them.

I wish to express my gratitude to the fine reporters and editors who keep me up to date with what is happening in my home town, even if it's only now online. Thanks so much.
