Anyone who seriously wonders how most of the incumbents won the election, apparently so handily, should take a look at the financial statements.
Enormous labour organizations have been "generously" involved in very big ways.
Their opponents were hardly even given a chance to compete with that order of magnitude of financing campaigns.
Moreover, does Scott not see any problem with 76 per cent of the voters refusing to vote, as if it were not worth the effort or made no particle of difference?
In my eyes, it implies something terribly serious about our already mass-indifferent society.
