Dear Editor:
Maybe TransLink should make (the Pattullo Bridge) eight lanes or how about 10? It doesn't matter because a precedent has been set.
A city can change existing traffic by implementing bike lanes. Just like Mayor Gregor the Good has done to various heavy traffic streets in downtown Vancouver.
TransLink gives us a six-lane bridge and we change McBride and Queens into one lane for cars and one for bicycles.
All in the good name of "going green." Coquitlam looked like idiots by building the "highway to nowhere" from United Boulevard to a single lane Bailey Bridge TransLink may go down the same road.
Of course Mayor Wright will have to stand up to a lot of political arm twisting.
Let's see if he is up to the challenge.
