Dear Editor:
In March 1938 on the orders of Adolf Hitler the German army invaded and occupied Austria.
This was done in spite of the vehement opposition of the lawful Austrian government and in violation of international law. The Austrian army was overwhelmed and did not resist.
A short time later the Germans held a referendum in which a majority of Austrians voted to join Germany and Austria became part of the Third Reich.
Is Vladimir Putin acting as a Nazi dictator in his actions respecting the Crimea? You be the judge.
