Re: No accountability for city staff, Letters to the Editor, The Record, Oct. 5.
After reading Catherine Cartwright's letter about the arrogance of our obviously overpaid planning staff, I wanted to throw up!
These paid city hall staff people must not only be stopped, but must also be fired and without any usual excessive severance that would choke a horse.
This can only be stopped if we replace the sleepy hollow council members and mayor that simply do not pay attention to how the paid staff are laughing at them (and us) behind our backs.
It is time to change, but unfortunately we have to wait until election time.
Let's simply hope that they don't do any more serious damage before we put in place a council that will demand accountability and common sense.
