Dear Editor:
New Westminster has six bridges. Burnaby has none. Let's give them the Pattullo! Southeast of the Fraser has the new Golden Ears and Port Mann bridges. Southwest of the Fraser has the SkyTrain bridge, Queensborough and the newly located Pattullo (Tree Island) bridge. Build more park-and-rides where needed, and reroute all truck traffic through Coquitlam and Burnaby.
We are a small 20-square-mile city of 70,000 people, who have to contend with 40,000 vehicles per day driving through our city. Give us a break. The traffic, noise and pollution is killing us.
