I'm stunned by the response to the proposed Elizabeth Fry Society development in Sapperton.
I have always been proud that E. Fry was founded in this area by Agnes Macphail in 1939.
New Westminster is a community where we support each other.
We should take comfort in the fact that our family members, neighbours or friends have a safe and supportive place to go if they need assistance.
I support the expansion of affordable housing and daycare spaces in our city. There is a house for sale next door to me, and Elizabeth Fry is welcome to be my neighbour.
