Coverage for prostate exams

Dear Editor: It is the time of year again for the prostate cancer campaign. It so happens the government does not pay for this simple test to be done. They claim it doesn't prove anything and the test is inconclusive. This is a cop-out.

Dear Editor:

It is the time of year again for the prostate cancer campaign.

It so happens the government does not pay for this simple test to be done. They claim it doesn't prove anything and the test is inconclusive. This is a cop-out.

The mammogram for women is at times also inconclusive. However, it is fully paid for by our government!

Women would scream bloody murder if they had to pay for this test themselves.

This is utter nonsense, and I won't donate one penny.

As soon as the government pays (the approximately $35 fee), I'll be glad to donate and have the test done.

I admire women for being so aggressive, they wouldn't take this lying down.

So men, become a little more aggressive and write or phone your MLA.

Don't be such wimps!
