Police are warning the public to stay away from a New Westminster man who has been the target in two recent shootings in Surrey and Burnaby.

Surrey RCMP tweeted on Wednesday about staying away from 35-year-old Thomas Gabriel Saul of New Westminster.

“He has been the target of recent shootings, including yesterday's shooting in Fraser Heights and an Aug. 21 shooting in Burnaby,” say RCMP.

Burnaby RCMP is still investigating after shots were fired Aug. 21 in the 7300-block of 14th Avenue just before 5 a.m. Police determined that “a number of shots” were fired, including some that hit a vehicle. Despite the number of shots, no one is believed to have been injured, police said.

At approximately 4:50 p.m., on Sept. 3, Surrey RCMP responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the 15900-block of 111 Avenue. Officers arrived and located two men suffering from apparent gun-shot wounds. Both men were taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
