New Westminster’s Babies for Climate Action group is inviting families out for a morning of fun and advocacy.

The group is hosting an activity circle at Queen’s Park on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Parents are invited to grab their morning snacks, coffee and blanket and head on out to join the group in a morning that will include some socially distanced storytime – featuring environment-themed kids’ books, of course – and family advocacy. Families will be able to join in a letter-writing campaign to politicians, if they’re so inclined, while they socialize with other families with young children.

If it’s raining, meet at the bandshell. If it’s not raining, you’ll find the group by the playground.
