SHAWINIGAN, Que. — Christopher Merisier-Ortiz scored and added an assist as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada downed the Gatineau Olympiques 5-2 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Saturday afternoon to take a 2-1 series lead.

Simon Pinard, Charles Boutin and Alexis Gendron also scored for the Armada, who outshot Gatineau 26-20.

Metis Roelens and Andrew Coxhead scored for the Olympiques while Remi Poirier turned away 21 shots.

Game 4 in the best-of-five series goes Monday as Gatineau looks to stave off elimination.

Logan Chisholm scored twice for Acadie-Bathurst and Francesco Iasenza got two for Moncton. 

The Titan were behind 3-1 in the second period before scoring three unanswered goals. Anthony Hamel forced overtime for the Wildcats with a third-period tally.
