TORONTO — The Toronto Arrows have re-signed lock Adrian Wadden for the 2023 Major League Rugby season.

The 26-year-old from Mississauga, Ont., has made 25 appearances, including 12 starts, for the Arrows since his debut in 2021. The six-foot-six 245-pounder is currently on loan at Hong Kong Premiership side HKU Sandy Bay as part of Toronto's development partnership with the Hong Kong Rugby Union.

"Adrian has his best rugby ahead of him and will push hard for a starter’s shirt every week," Arrows COO and GM Mark Winokur said in a statement. "His experience in Hong Kong will really get him ready for that next step."

Wadden has played for Canada 'A' and the Canada Selects as well as the Canadian under-20 team.

He joined the Arrows after three years at Leeds Beckett University where he played in England’s BUCS Super Rugby college competition.

A graduate of the Ontario Blues provincial program, Wadden also played for the McMaster Marauders and Oakville Crusaders.
