6:45 p.m.
Alberta's chief medical health officer says nine new COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded in the province over the past 24 hours.
Dr. Deena Hinshaw also says Alberta has identified 378 new cases of the virus out of 7,541 tests.
Hinshaw says there are 4,758 active cases in the province, with 321 people in provincial hospitals.
She says 53 of those patients are in intensive care.

Saskatchewan is reporting four new deaths of people with COVID-19 and 182 new cases of the virus.
Two of the people who died were in their 60s, while the other two were in their 70s.
The province says 1,670 COVID-19 cases are considered active.
The government also says 2,428 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered on Saturday.

Manitoba is reporting two COVID-19-related deaths today and 58 new cases of the virus.
One of the deaths was a man in his 70s whose case was linked to an outbreak at the Heritage Life Personal Care Home in Niverville, Man., while the other death was a woman in her 80s from the Winnipeg health region.
The province says there are 208 people in hospital due to COVID-19, including 31 patients in intensive care.
Manitoba's current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.3 per cent provincially and 4.1 per cent in Winnipeg.

New Brunswick is reporting four new cases of COVID-19 and one new death as a result of an infection.
Health officials confirm the death of a person in their 80s at the Manoir Belle Vue, an adult residential facility in Edmundston.
The province has now logged a total of 25 deaths related to novel coronavirus.
Officials say three of today's new cases are in the Edmundston area, while the other is in the Moncton region.
There are now 87 active cases in the province.

Newfoundland and Labrador is reporting 25 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
All of the cases are in the eastern health region which includes St. John's.
Health officials say there is also one presumptive positive case awaiting confirmation.
The province currently has 430 active cases of COVID-19.

Nova Scotia is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today.
Health officials say the new case is in the eastern zone and is related to travel outside the province.
Nova Scotia currently has 19 active COVID-19 infections.
One person is currently in hospital and is in intensive care.

11:15 a.m.
The Quebec government is reporting 666 new cases of COVID-19 as well as 15 additional deaths linked to the virus, including seven in the past 24 hours.
Hospitalizations fell by 14 to 686 with 119 patients in intensive care, which is one less than the day before.
The province administered just over 13,000 vaccine doses on Saturday, most of them to health workers or people living in care homes or seniors’ residences.

10:45 a.m.
Ontario is reporting 1,087 new cases of COVID-19 and 13 new deaths linked to the virus.
The latest numbers mark a decline from Sunday, when the province recorded 1,228 new infections.
The province says at least 660 patients are currently in hospital with COVID-19, down 29 from the day before, though notes not all hospitals report capacity on weekends.
The numbers come a day before York Region, north of Toronto, is set to reenter Ontario's colour-coded pandemic response framework at the red level.
Toronto, nearby Peel Region and the North Bay Parry Sound health district are the only ones that will still be operating under a stay-at-home order as of Monday.
