In the women's javelin, recent Canadian senior national champion Krista Woodward of New Westminster had a disappointing showing, placing fourth overall with a toss of 48.79m, well off her national championship meet record of 58.59m.
Following the national championships, Woodward was one of 64 athletes named to represent Canada at the world championships in Moscow in August.
