There are still a few openings for new volunteers for the upcoming Canadian ringette championships in Burnaby.
Individuals are needed for driving referees to and from venues, selling admission passes, relaying game statistics and spectator management, especially between the times of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Volunteers who contribute more than 12 hours will receive a free pass to all games and a tournament program.
All volunteers are invited to a barbecue on Sunday, April 15 at the Burnaby Village Museum.
The tournament begins with the opening ceremonies at the Bill Copeland Sports Centre on Sunday, April 8.
All games will be held at the Copeland centre, 8Rinks or Moody Park in New Westminster.
To volunteer fill in the online form at www.rin gette.ca/crc or send date and time availability and area of interest to volun [email protected].
