Royal City's Westminster United soccer team is heading to the provincials in Prince George this summer after defeating Langley 2-0 in the semi-finals of the Coastal B Cup on April 20.
After a slow start, Dievid Penalver opened the scoring with a long shot over the goalie's head. Shortly after, Markus Zacharuk marked a similar goal against Langley, widening the gap at 2-0. Westminster's goalie, Matt Buchanan held off the opponents blocking all shots for a perfect game.
Westminster United faces the Killarney All Stars on Sunday in Richmond for the Coastal B Cup championships. Game time is 9: 20 a.m. at Minoru Park stadium.
