The New Westminster Twins won the bronze medal for a second consecutive year at the 48th annual Hyack Little League baseball tournament at Moody Park.
The Twins finished undefeated, with a three wins and one tie, but due to an aggregate runs scored system, the team just missed playing in the championship game, which was won by the Hastings White Sox 11-0 over the South Vancouver Red Sox.
In the bronze medal game, the Twins defeated the South Vancouver Yankees 3-0. Kyle Gee hit a home run and contributed to a three-hit, 11-strikeout performance on the mound with Ryan Adamoski and Alan Chang.
