Woodward needs an A throw of 61m and to come in the top three at the Canadian national track and field championships in Calgary next weekend to earn a spot on the national team to the London Olympic Games.

A MEXICAN FIESTA

Canada's national junior men's field hockey team returned from Mexico with three decisive wins over the Mexican junior national team last weekend.

The Canadian junior team, including New Westminster's Matthew, Stephen and Brenden Bissett, scored a convincing 17 goals while allowing just one against in the three-game series in Guadalajara.
