Top-seed Monica Neveklovska of West Vancouver won a third consecutive Burnaby Open women's singles title.
Neveklovska added the singles crown to the championships she won in 2010 and 2011 at the Burnaby Tennis Club on Canada Day.
Neveklovska overcame a slow start to defeat thirdseed Rosie Johanson of Abbotsford 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the championship match on Sunday, July 1.
Neveklovska also teamed up with Surrey's Tracy Dong to win the women's open doubles title, downing the Vancouver duo of Kelly McNabney and Shiera Stuart 6-7, 6-0, 6-4.
In the men's draw, top seed David Chu of Vancouver cruised to victory.
Chu did not lose a set in his five matches, culminating with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over fifth-seed Manuel Calvo of Coquitlam in the championship final.
Chu, however, came up short in the men's doubles final, as he and partner Aaron Wong of West Vancouver fell to the topseeded duo Kris Santoso of Vancouver and Jerry Turek of Port Moody, 6-0, 6-3.
In other Burnaby open action, Andreea Craciun of New Westminster knocked off the top seed, Oleksandra Gorchanyuk of West Van, in three sets to win the 12yer-old girls' singles 7-5, 2-6, 6-3.
No. 1 Renee Ren of Vancouver beat No. 2 Tomoe Yazawa of Burnaby 6-2, 6-0 in the 16-year-old girls' final.
Seventh seed Pho Nguyen of Burnaby surprised the field in the men's 4.5 level singles, upsetting the top seed, Steve Bower of Surrey, in three sets following a marathon 10-7 tiebreaker.
Burnaby's Dragana Kosoric held her No. 1 seeding with a three set 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 victory over unseeded Ika Setyawati of Coquitlam in the 3.5 women's final.
Jenny Fu of Burnaby also won a women's singles title, blanking top seed Kim unseeded Ika Setyawati of Coquitlam in the 3.5 women's final.

More than 450 competitors took part at the open.
