Swimmers compete

Burnaby residents Brittany Tonello and Disa Fladmark are synchronized swimmers on the Fraser Valley Masters Synchronized Swimming Club who train at Simon Fraser University and recently went to Roseville, California to compete at the U.S.

Burnaby residents Brittany Tonello and Disa Fladmark are synchronized swimmers on the Fraser Valley Masters Synchronized Swimming Club who train at Simon Fraser University and recently went to Roseville, California to compete at the U.S. National Masters Synchronized Swimming Championships.

The duo competed in the 20-to-29 age category in the following categories: figures, technical duet and free routine duet.

The duo are the current provincial champions and have been swimming together for the past 12 years.

They will be heading to Riccione, Italy in June 2012 to compete at the FINA World Masters Swimming Championships.
