A pair of one-goal losses left the Grandview Steelers alone in the basement of the Pacific International Junior Hockey League's Shaw conference.
The Steelers dropped a 3-2 matchup against the North Vancouver Wolf Pack on Saturday. The Burnaby-based junior B squad then was nipped 1-0 by the North Delta Devils at home on Sunday.
Captain Christopher Busto opened the scoring in the first period for Grandview in North Vancouver and Jordan Hall gave the visitors a 2-1 lead midway through the middle frame.
But two third-period counters by the Wolf Pack less than a minute apart proved the difference in the scoreline.
At the Burnaby Winter Club, Grandview outshot the Devils 26-20, including 14-5 in the first period, but could not get a puck behind North Delta first star Harry Fredeman.
North Delta's Julius Ho tallied the game-winner on a power play in the middle frame.
Grandview's record fell to 8-12-2-3.
The Steelers meet the Devils again this Saturday at the Sungod Arena. The club is back at home against Mission on Sunday. The puck drops at 4 p.m.
