Grandview Steelers Nick Hermary was named the Pacific Junior Hockey League rookie of the year. The 18year-old forward led the Steelers with 20 goals and 42 total points.
Steelers team captain Justin Elliott won the league's sportsmanship award, registering just six minutes in penalties in 43 league games. The 20-year-old defenceman had 13 goals and 18 assists in his final year of junior.
