The New Westminster Salmonbellies moved into sole possession of fourth place in the Western Lacrosse Association with a 7-7 tie in Langley on Wednesday.
The senior A club jumped out to a 5-3 lead after two periods at the Langley Events Centre and then managed to hang on for a single point following a scoreless overtime period.
Neil Tyacke backstopped the draw, earning his second straight game star in the process, kicking out 39 shots in the New Westminster cage.
Last week at home, Tyacke earned the game's first star honour, making 49 stops in a 5-4 win over the Burnaby Lakers at Queen's Park Arena.
New Westminster's top junior draft pick, Logan Schuss, posted his fifth multi-goal in his first six senior A starts, potting a hat trick against last season's Minto Cup finalists.
Schuss's third goal of the game midway through the final period gave the visitors a temporary 7-5 lead.
Langley answered back with two late goals - the first from former junior Salmonbellies captain Jarrett Toll at 13.31 and the game-tying marker from Shayne Jackson three minutes later.
Tyacke stopped all nine Langley shots in the 10-minute overtime.
Brodie MacDonald, with 43 saves for Langley, was named the game's first star.
Another former junior Salmonbellie Alex Turner got the third-star nod with a pair of goals for Langley.
New Westminster hosts the Nanaimo Timbermen tonight (Thursday) at Queen's Park Arena. Game time is 7 p.m.
