Sr. A's dominate lacrosse awards

The Coquitlam Adanacs came away with four players named to the Western Lacrosse Association allstar teams, including three first-team picks.

Player of the year goalie Nick Rose, defender Bruce Murray and forward Dane Dobbie grabbed first team spots, while Brad Richardson was named to the second team.

New Westminster's Brett Mydske, who was named the league's top defender for the Langley Thunder, was also a firstteam choice.

Rounding out the first team were Victoria's Cory Small and league scoring champion Scott Ranger of the Nanaimo Timbermen.

New Westminster Salmonbellies Ian Hawksbee and Ilija Gajic were both selected as second-teamers.

Goalie Zac Boychuk from Nanaimo and forwards Athan Iannucci from Langley and the league's three-star award winner, Jeff Shattler of the Victoria Shamrocks, were also named to the WLA second team all-stars.
