The St. Thomas More Knights football team got a rude awakening prior to a spring scrimmage at Mercer Stadium in New Westminster on Friday.
The Knights took the field against Terry Fox and Rick Hansen in a spring 7-on-7 touch conditioning matchup at Mercer just prior to an unseasonal hail storm that left the turf field blanketed in white.
