Shasta tumblers medal at Elite Canada meet

Kyle Garragher won two medals, including a gold medal in the junior double-mini trampoline event in Kamloops

Shasta Trampoline Club's Kyle Garragher won a gold and a silver medal at the recent Elite Canada trampoline meet in Kamloops.

Garragher won the junior men's double-mini trampoline, while earning a runner-up medal in the junior trampoline at the March 18 competition.

Garragher finished ahead of Jean-Christophe Martel from Acrosport Barani and Shasta clubmate Tyler Edwards in the double-mini. He also bettered Keeven Madigan of Skyriders and Shasta's Ben Blais, who came in third place on trampoline.

Duncan Blais also picked up a podium medal for the New Westminster-based club, placing third in the espoir trampoline.

Cameron Quinland and Zachary Hutchins both placed fourth overall in their respective junior and espoir trampoline events.

In all B.C. qymnasts garnered 18 total medals at the Elite Canada competition.
