Ben Blais of New Westminster was a double medallist at the Canadian trampoline championships in Ottawa last week.
The Shasta Trampoline Club tumbler finished runner-up in the junior men's trampoline with a total score of 142.025. Kevin Madigan of Ontario won the event.
Cameron Quinlan, who placed fifth in the espoir on double-mini trampoline, was fourth behind Blais in the junior men's trampoline.
Blais also won a second medal, teaming with Shasta clubmate Tyler Edwards for a bronze medal on men's national sychronized trampoline.
Individually, Edwards placed fourth in the junior double-mini and sixth on espoir trampoline.
Poppy Quinlan came away with a third-place medal in the senior women's trampoline.
Samantha Sendel of Ontario placed first overall and Quebec's Cloé Deschènes was runner-up on trampoline.
Quinlan also came seventh on senior double-mini.
Connor Doherty picked up a couple of fifth overall placements at the national open level on trampoline and double-mini.
Chelsea Nerpio also finished in fifth spot in the women's national open trampoline.
Nerpio also placed eighth in the senior double-mini.
Liam Doherty had a fourth-place finish in the men's double-mini trampoline.
Duncan Blais of New West placed eighth in the espoir trampoline. Blais also teamed with Zachary Hutchins for seventh place in the men's national syn-chro.
The Shasta Trampoline Club trains at the Queen's Park Arenex.
