New Westminster reigned supreme a the 2012 Adanac Challenge girls' lacrosse tournament through the Victoria Day long weekend.
All eight New West teams entered finished in the top three in their division at the competition.

The peewee 2 team coached by Tony Malcom won gold against the Coquitlam 1 team coached by for Salmonbellie Darren McEwen by a 4-3 final score with Coquitlam taking a shot in the final seconds of play to try to force overtime.
The bantam 1 team coached by Tony Malcom won gold against the Port Coquitlam team coached by Dan Stroup. The final score was 6-1. Aside from Bianca Ballarin stopping shot after shot, the New Westminster keeper finished off the game with a beautiful unassisted empty-net goal in the final 10 seconds from her own net.
The bantam 2 team coached by Jamie Stewart defeated Coquitlam 8-4 to bring home the bronze medal.
The New West midget girls coached by Dwight Noda lost 6 - 3 to Burnaby coached by Tom Kellet in the tournament final to take home a silver.
