A balanced offence lifted the Douglas College Royals women’s basketball team past Camosun College on Saturday in a 50-39 victory at the New West campus.
The Royals’ Amber Beasley led the way with 10 points and nine points from Sarah Jorgenson, while New West’s Domunique Booker counted a game-high 11 boards.

A day earlier, Douglas fell 72-50 to VIU, getting 13 points from Gursimran Bir.

The Royals host Quest, 6 p.m. on Friday, and Langara College on Saturday, 5 p.m. Both games are at the New West campus.
