The sounds of bats hitting baseballs and umpires making calls will echo around the walls of Queen's Park Stadium this weekend and next, as the iconic park plays host to the Lower Mainland Baseball Association's18+ and 45+ division playoffs.
Hosted by the New Westminster Twins, this 16-team tournament will show off local talents as squads sift the sands of the basepaths to see who's the best of them all.
The tourney-like event also features fan-friendly amenities like a licensed beer garden and concession, where all proceeds go to New Westminster Little League.
All fans are invited.
