Douglas College continued its domination in PacWest badminton with a tournament clean sweep for the second time this season.
Logan Campbell, Bob Sharma, Charmagne Yeung and recently returned three-time Canadian college player of the year RuiLin Huang all shared in two event wins apiece at the PacWest tournament hosted by Douglas Royals at the David Lam campus last weekend.
Sharma won the men's singles, upsetting No. 1 seed Luke Couture of Langara in three sets. The first-year Royal finished the tournament with a perfect 13-0 record. Sharma then teamed with Campbell for first place in the men's doubles.
Campbell then paired with Yeung for top spot, defeating Douglas teammates Simon Wu and Amy Leung 21-11, 21-10 in the mixed doubles final.
Yeung shared the women's doubles title with Huang, who also placed first overall with her 14th victory in a row in the women's singles.
For Campbell and Yeung it was their sixth tournament win this season and 39th straight victory without a loss.
Douglas also placed third in the men's and women's doubles.
Luo Wei and Wu took third in the men's, while Leung and Lisa Chen did the same in the women's event.
Chen and Wei finished in fifth place in their respective singles competitions.
