Christopher Poljer-So placed well in a pair of final events in speed skating at the B.C. Winter Games in Vernon last weekend.
Poljer-So placed second in the D final of the boys' 400 metres. The New Westminster skater also finished third in the 1,500m C final.
Kristina Natalenko finished just off the podium in girls' alpine skiing, placing fourth in the slalom and fifth in the GS. She also came seventh in ski-cross.
In archery, Emily McLaughlin was sixth in the two-day girls' aggregate barebow.
Freestyle skier Michael Cirillo finished fourth in the youth boys' dual moguls and seventh in moguls.
New West athletes won three medals in team events.
Hailey Valancius shared a gold medal in ringette, while Masaki Soehardhi and Kevin Thomeloe earned bronze in karate and judo, respectively
