Three Coquitlam Express players were named to the B.C. Hockey League Coastal Conference first team.
New Westminster defenceman Clinton Atkinson and Coastal MVP Alex Petan joined former Northwest Giants forward Alex Kerfoot, who was also awarded the conference rookie of the year and most sportsmanlike player, on the first-team. Kerfoot was also an all-rookie team choice.
Atkinson finished the season second in overall BCHL defenceman scoring with nine goals and 50 assists. His 59 points was fourth best in Express team scoring.
Tyler Morley of Burnaby was named to the Coastal Conference second all-star team.
Morley, who is the captain of the Surrey Eagles in the BCHL Coastal Conference, was named alongside forwards Matt Brown of Cowichan Valley and Cohen Adair of the Powell River Kings.
The 20-year-old Morley led the Eagles in scoring with 65 points, including a career-best 28 goals.

New Westminster's Kyle Madden signed a letter of intent to attend the University of British Columbia on a football scholarship.
The St. Thomas More linebacker and two-time eastern conference defensive player of the year also had interest from Guelph, Ottawa, McGill and Simon Fraser universities.
Madden had 92 tackles, five sacks and three fumble recoveries last year.
