The Nanaimo Pirates eliminated the Queen's Park-based club from further play 7-6 following an unearned run in the bottom of the ninth by T.J. Mah on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, the Cannons blanked eventual championhip finalist Victoria Eagles 3-0 on Brandon Marklund's complete game shutout. Josh Gaudette, Markus Helyar and Tyler Smythe all hit run-scoring singles in the second inning.
