The masters Tri-City Greyhounds track and field club had a mind-numbing 2012.
The club combined for a total of 415 medals, including 16 world records, last season.
The impressive medal tally included 266 individual gold medals, 93 silver and 46 bronze in indoor and outdoor events, which included the B.C. masters and Canadian and U.S. championships.
In all, club members also set 33 new Canadian and 48 provincial records. Last year, Christa Bortignon set 19 national records and was named Sport B.C.'s master athlete of the year.
The 75-year-old was also voted runner-up as the world masters female athlete of the year.
At the recent U.S. masters indoor championships, Bortignon bettered her own pending indoor world record in the triple jump. She jumped 7.75 metres, twice, bettering her pending world record of 7.59m that she jumped at the Canadian championships only one week earlier.
Bortignon also broke the Canadian indoor 800m record with a time of 3: 45, and just missed another world mark in the 60m sprint. Her time of 10.06 was just 0.02 seconds off her own world record of 10.04.
At the American masters meet, Bortignon won six gold medals, while scratching from both the high jump and 400m.
