Burnaby's Brandon Morley was one of 60 hockey players named to the Canada West evaluation camp this week in Calgary for the upcoming World Junior A Challenge in the Czech Republic in November.

Burnaby's Brandon Morley was one of 60 hockey players named to the Canada West evaluation camp this week in Calgary for the upcoming World Junior A Challenge in the Czech Republic in November.

Morley, a 5-9, 160-pound forward, currently plays with the Surrey Eagles of the B.C. Hockey League.

Former Northwest Giants major midget star Alex Kerfoot also earned an invitation to the camp.

Canada West has appeared in four of the five goldmedal games at the World Junior A Challenge, winning gold in 2006 and again in 2007. It finished fourth last year in Penticton.
