The New Westminster Hyacks have absorbed all the lessons possible during a bye week.
On Friday, they bring it onto the Mercer Stadium field as they host the No. 3-ranked Vancouver College Fighting Irish (7:30 p.m.).
New West, 1-1 on the year, will be looking to bounce back after a tough 44-28 loss to Notre Dame two weeks ago.
