The New Westminster Hyacks wound up spring football camp, leaving coaches optimistic about the coming fall high school season.
The varsity Hyacks got solid efforts at the team's spring game in Blaine, Washington, last Saturday.
Quarterback Tommy Robertson, Jeff Lugtu and Adrian Cagampan all scored rushing touchdowns in the controlled scrimmage.

Two weeks later, New Westminster will hold its annual homecoming game against Centennial at Mercer on Friday, Sept. 13.
The Hyacks open conference play on the road against Mt. Douglas on Sept. 20. Their conference home opener is against Belmont on Sept. 27.
Coming off an 8-2 season in 2012, the junior varsity wrapped up spring camp with a jamboree at Mercer Stadium.
