New Westminster's juvenile girls won the Vancouver and District basketball title for the first time since 1992 following a 55-20 victory over Burnaby Central last week. Justice Steer led New West in scoring with 13 points.
New West is seeded third at the provincial tournament, which starts Thursday at the Richmond Oval.
