Goalie Ross Bowman of New Westminster was named to the Canadian under-19 national field lacrosse team for the upcoming International Lacrosse Federation world championships in Turku, Finland in November.
Bowman is one of only three players selected to the national team not already committed to an NCAA school on an athletic scholarship and one of just five from B.C.
Bowman graduated from New West Secondary.
