New Westminster's Marco Ballarin was named the first star, leading the Ridge Meadows Flames to a 5-2 win over the Aldergrove Kodiaks in Pacific International Junior Hockey League playoffs on March 2. Ballarin opened scoring with a shorthanded marker.
He also chipped in with an assist on the Flames' second goal.
