Anthony Conti had a total of seven points to help the Northwest Giants take four points from the Thompson Blazers at the B.C. major midget hockey league all-star weekend in Coquitlam.
Conti was in on all four goals in a 4-1 win over the Blazers at Planet Ice on Saturday, tallying a hat trick and assisting on Josh Thrower's second-period game-winner.
In Sunday's return match, Conti opened the scoring for the Giants and helped out on the eventual game-winning marker by Jarid Lukosevicius in a 6-1 victory.
Lukosevicius added a second goal later in the game, garnering his 12th of the season in the Giants' three-goal third period.
Burnaby forward Adam Helewka chipped in with three assists, bringing his team-leading points total to 37.
Joseph Carvalho, Taylor Tanti and Cole Todd also tallied for the first-place Giants.
New Westminster's Brandon Del Grosso picked up his sixth helper of the year in the win.
Giants goalie Braden Krogfoss was named the league's player for the month of December.
The 15-year-old keeper from Cloverdale finished the month with three wins, including a pair of shutouts, and a 0.33 goals against average.
The most significant win was perhaps a 1-0 victory over second-place rival Cariboo Cougars in Prince George. In the game, Krogfoss stopped all 29 shots fired his way.
Earlier, Helewka scored a goal for Team White in a 5-2 win for Team Blue in the B.C. major midget league's annual all-star game played Jan. 13 in Coquitlam.
The Giants will host the Fraser Valley Bruins at the BWC on Saturday at 7: 45 p.m.
The two teams are scheduled to complete the series at Prospera Centre in Chilliwack on Sunday at 10 a.m.
