Lexi Der and Boise State University teammate Lauren Lenhardt combined for 33 points and 25 rebounds to upset College of Idaho 61-47 in NCAA Division I women's basketball.
Der, a redshirt freshman, recorded her first-ever varsity double-double in the come-from-behind win at home last week.
The St. Thomas More Collegiate grad scored 20 points and added a game-high 14 rebounds in the non-conference win over Idaho.
Der garnered most of her points at the free-throw line, nailing 12-of-13 from the charity stripe, while also scoring four field goals.
The 6-1 Burnaby product was particularly helpful in the pivotal second half, recording 16 points and 10 boards, as Boise State came back from a deficit of 15 points to improve the team's record to 7-6.
