Douglas men breeze by CBC Bearcats

Mark Vanderwal contributed 10 points of total offence in just two games played in each of the matches. Vanderwal had nine kills and one block on Friday and seven kills, two blocked shots and one service ace in Saturday's action.

Sam Shaw also had a total of 13 kills and five blocks in limited action.

Andrew McWilliam, who is second in the country with 135 total kills, while averaging 4.35 winners a game, played in just three games and recorded nine kills and five digs against CBC.

With the wins, the Royals improved their overall league record to 17-1.

Douglas is on the road to the 7-9 College of the Rockies this weekend.

The Douglas College women's team fell to 5-13 in the PacWest following a pair of 3-1 losses to CBC.
