Douglas College graduate Brent Lawrence helped the Northern State Wolves NCAA baseball team defeat Minnesota-Crookston in a four-game sweep during the Northern Sun intercollegiate conference series.
The series, which came to an end on April 8, saw Lawrence drive home eight runs and make three of Northern State's five triples.
The Coquitlam-native, and centre fielder, has a batting average of .333 and leads the team in several offensive categories.
